How to Create Extraordinary Images on iPhone Portrait Mode

What is iPhone Portrait Mode?

Apple Support defined iPhone Portrait mode as the camera mode that uses the dual cameras on your iPhone 7 Plus, 8 Plus, and X to create a depth-of-field effect which helps you to compose a photo that keeps your subject sharp while blurring the background.

Tip: Features of iPhone 7Plus Dual-Sensor Camera Module
How to Use Portrait Mode iPhone 7/8 Plus/X

Taking photos in iPhone 7 portrait mode is easy and only needs you to swipe to Portrait mode and take the picture. The iOS Camera app will give you tips in real time on how to get the best effect. It can tell you that you’re too close to the object, too far away, or the area is dark. You can also apply camera filter, set a timer, True Tone, or flash to get the best of your photo.

Step 1: Launch the Camera app.

Step 2: Swipe to Portrait mode.

Step 3: Look for the yellow portrait box and click the button below it.

Note that you can also edit your picture to include other effects.
How to Use iPhone Portrait Mode on Previous Models

You can still use iPhone Portrait mode even when you don’t have iPhone 7 Plus or other recent versions of iPhone. The solution is to use third-party applications such as Fab-focus, Patch, After-Focus, or Depth Effects on your iPhone to create blur effects.

Here is how to portrait mode with Fab-Focus:

Step 1: Download and install FabFocus on your iPhone, launch the application, and allow it access to your iPhone camera and storage.

Step 2: Hit the camera button at the button center of your screen when you want to take a picture.

Step 3: When your image is ready, you can now get your desired blur effect by clicking the Start button at the button center of your screen.

Once you are through with these steps, other items appearing in the picture you just took will be blurred out. However, the above third-party apps we’ve discussed only supports iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone6s Plus and iPhone 7. Any other version that is earlier than these is not compatible.
How to Remove iPhone Portrait Mode Effect

If you don’t want to use iPhone 7 Portrait mode anymore on your photo, you can remove the effect by following these steps:

Step 1: Select the photo that you want to change.

Step 2: Click “Edit > Portrait”.

The blurring effect would have been removed by now. You can also add the Portrait effect by clicking “Portrait” at the top of your photo screen.

Steve Wozniak Wants an Apple Foldable Phone, Prefers His Roku Over Apple TV

Is Apple going to launch a foldable phone? That does appear to be the question of the day, week, month, and maybe the year.

Whatever Apple is working on, we at least know the company has considered the possibility before. But we also know that the company isn’t always all about being first to do something. That doesn’t stop it from becoming a market leader, though. Apple wasn’t first with a smartphone, but the iPhone changed the market. The same can be said with the iPad. And the Apple Watch. Apple Pay. Touch ID.

Apple has a precedent.

But that doesn’t stop folks from wanting things from Apple. That includes the company’s co-founder, Steve Wozniak. The Woz is featured in a Bloomberg report today, talking about things like foldable phones and Apple TV. We’ll kick things off here with the foldable phone comments.

For those who need a quick refresher: Samsung recently announced the Galaxy Fold, a $1,980 foldable phone that marks the company’s first effort with the design. Not long after, Huawei unveiled the Mate X, a $2,500 (!) foldable phone. TCL has foldable phones on the way. Motorola does, too (as it revitalizes the RAZR brand). LG is taking a wait-and-see approach.

So, it isn’t wrong to say that Apple is not leading the way on foldable phones. Woz is “worried” that Apple isn’t leading the way in this regard. But, for what it’s worth, it sounds more like Woz is worried because he just wants a foldable phone right now.

“‘Apple has been a leader for quite a long time in a few areas such as touch ID, facial ID, and easy payment with the phone,’ Wozniak said in a Bloomberg TV interview. ‘They’re not the leader in areas like the folding phone, and that worries me because I really want a folding phone.'”

What about Apple TV? Woz wants more from Apple’s set-top box, but, as it stands right now, he “prefers my Roku”. Still, Apple sees a bright future for Apple as it branches out to other categories beyond the iPhone.

“‘They just got so successful on the iPhone and that was their whole business for a long time,’ he said. ‘Now they’re branching out so a lot of their businesses have been very good.'”Sponsor ads:Windows Media Player Won’t Play AVI Troubleshooting

Apple was just not ever going to be first in the foldable phone category, but that doesn’t mean the company won’t be the leader when/if it does jump on the bandwagon. We have seen concepts of a foldable iPhone and they look great. Let’s just hope when Apple does launch something like this, it doesn’t cost $3,000.

Are you hoping for an Apple-branded foldable phone?

How To Fix App Store Not Loading or Being Blank on iPhone 2019

“I recently heard about an App and wanted to download it so I opened App Store on my iPhone running iOS 11 but something really strange happened. The screen went white and App Store did not load. I tried again but the same problem persisted. What should I do?”
This is a typical situation of iPhone App Store not loading. Some people meet this problem after they update their device to iOS 11. If you also see iPhone App Store not loading or being blank, then this article will help you understand why App Store does not work properly when opening it. Read on and find out more about the probable causes behind iPhone Apps Store not loading problem.

1. Check Apple System Status

Sometimes App Store not loading or getting blank happens when the Apple’s servers are experiencing a downtime. There could be an ongoing server maintenance which disrupts the working of App Store. You may visit Apple System Status to check for Apple System Updates. This webpage will immediately show you if certain Apple operations are experiencing a technical glitch.

Once you do this and the problem still exists, move on to the possible solutions to fix the problem of iPhone App Store not working.
2. Close and Reopen App Store

This sounds like a simple trick but is very effective when it comes to resolving minor software errors. In order to close and reopen App Store, just double click on iPhone Home button, then swipe up all Apps which are currently open. Now open App Store and check if it loads properly.
3. Change iPhone Language and Then Check App Store

If your App store is still not loading, change your iPhone’s language by going to “Settings” and then “General”. Now select “iPhone Language” in “Language & Region” to switch to any other language. This might help you and if it does, i.e., if App Store opens normally now, do not forget to revert to the original language.

4. Log Out of Your Apple ID and Then Log In Again

This is a useful tip which has helped many users to resolve the problem of iPhone App Store not loading. First, tap on your name in “Settings” and then scroll down to hit the “Sign Out” button. Wait for a few minutes before signing back in and then try to open App Store.

5. Clear App Store Cache

Another effective way to overcome the App store not working problem is to clear cache stored on your App Store. Just tap on an icon appearing on your App Store’s screen’s bottom for ten times. App Store will automatically reload and work smoothly.

For example, tap on “Featured” / “Categories” / “Top Charts” / “Search” / “Updates” on the main screen of App Store for ten times to clear cache.

6. Force Restart Your iPhone

This sounds unusual but works wonders especially on Apple devices. All you need to do is press the Home button and Power Off button simultaneously for about three to five second. For iPhone 7 you may hold the Home button and volume down button to force restart. Your iPhone now reboots instantly. Wait till it connects to a Wi-Fi network or cellular data and try opening App Store once again. Hopefully the App store not loading problem would have been solved.

7. Check If Port 80 and Port 443 Are Open

This might sound technical, nevertheless, easy to understand. Port 80 and 443 are for connecting to App Store and iTunes via internet. To check that both the ports are working you may search the via “Google.com" or try opening a website. If you are able search on Google.com and open the other websites, then the ports work fine. If you are unable to do so, read on to know more about resetting network settings to fix the App Store not working problem.
8. Reset All Settings

It is time to reset all settings on your iPhone if App Store is not loading even after trying all the steps explained above.

Here is how to do it:

Go to “Settings” and tap on “General”

Now go to “Reset” and tap on “Reset All Settings”

However if you wish to only reset the network settings, tap on “Reset Network Settings” instead. This will erase all saved Wi-Fi networks and solve all internet connectivity problems.

To wrap up, we’ve seen, there are multiple reasons why App Store is not loading or not working and you’re not the only one experiencing such a problem. So DO NOT panic and with a bit of patience fix the problem by following the instructions given above.Sponsor ads:

Share iTunes Library between Computers – Home Sharing, Music Sharing 2019

How to Share iTunes Library Between Computers - Using Home Sharing

One of Apple’s official ways to share iTunes library between computers is with Home Sharing. This works well enough in many cases, but it still has its limits:

You can’t share your iTunes library with computers that are signed in with different Apple IDs, which means you can’t share iTunes library between users.

Your computers should be on and awake, and so does iTunes.

Your computers need to be networked for the transferring to occur.

You can’t be individually selective about which files you want to transfer and which you don’t - it just happens automatically.

In case you still want to use Home Sharing, though, this is how you can do it:

Launch iTunes.

Sign in with your Apple ID.

Make sure that you are using the same Apple ID for every device in your home.

In iTunes, go to File > Home Sharing > Turn on Home Sharing.

You can drag some specific iTunes contents from the shared library to your iTunes library. But note that iTunes home sharing always not working.

How to Share iTunes Library between Computers - Using Music Sharing

Alternatively, you can use music sharing. This is similar to Home Sharing, but you must have iTunes open on all the devices that are sharing. There are a few disadvantages to this method:

Again, you must be on a network. Your computers should be in the same network.

Your computer and shared iTunes should be on and awake that others can access your library.

It only works with DRM-free content. This means that if there are any digital rights management restrictions on your music, you won’t be able to use Music Sharing to share the files.

Apple Music content can’t be shared with these method. (Though this is also true for Home Sharing.)

It can be a privacy concern because if Music Sharing isn’t password protected, anyone connected to your network can see your library.

Launch iTunes.

Go to Edit > Preferences (Mac: iTunes > Preferences).

Click where it says “Sharing.”

Click the box next to, "Share my library on my local network." You can specify certain types of content or playlists that you want to share, or let it share everything.

Tips

You can customize your library by going to Edit > Preferences (Mac: iTunes > Preferences), and then changing the name under the General tab by typing the new name in the box next to “Library Name.”Worth reading:download youtube 1080p

How to View Your Shared Library on Another computer?

Click “Music” at the top left corner of the iTunes window.

Go to Edit > Shared Libraries, and click “Done.” You should now be able to see the libraries that you share with other devices that have iTunes open. Click the name of the library to examine what’s in it.Sponsor ads:
