iOS 10.3.3 Jailbreak Status: Is Jailbreaking Dead?

Apple released iOS 10.3.3 a few days back which includes a number of bug fixes and security improvements including a fix for a vulnerability that could allow a hacker to execute code in the iPhone’s Wi-Fi chip.
Since this is probably the last iOS software update for iOS 10 with iOS 11 just around the corner, it would be a perfect time to release the elusive jailbreak for iOS 10.3.3 – iOS 10.2.1.
So in this post, we will take a look at the latest status of iOS jailbreak.

iOS 10 Jailbreak Status

In case you’re new to the jailbreaking world, the first jailbreak for iOS 10 known as Yalu (formerly Yalu + Mach Portal) was released on December 21, 2016, by well-known hacker Luca Todesco, famous by his Twitter handle qwertyoruiop. The Yalu jailbreakmade use of Ian Beer’s, of Google Project Zero, mach_portal exploit. It supported select 64-bit devices such as the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Todesco then released a more stable version of the Yalu jailbreak tool for iOS 10.2 by using Ian Beer’s, extra_recipe exploit with the help of Marco Grassi on January 26, 2017. It supported all 64-bit devices except for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

You have to use a computer application known as Cydia Impactor to install the Yalu jailbreak. The jailbreak is a semi-untethered jailbreak, which means that when the iOS device boots, it will no longer have a patched kernel. You are required to run the Yalu app again, to re-jailbreak your iOS device. The other limitation of the jailbreak is that the Yalu app certificate expires seven days, so you have to reinstall it again using Cydia Impactor to renew it for another 7 days.

Can I jailbreak iOS 10.3.3?

The exploits that were used in Yalu iOS 10.2 jailbreak have all been patched by Apple in iOS 10.2.1 and iOS 10.3, which means that if your device is running on any of these firmwares, then it cannot be jailbroken.

Downgrading to iOS 10.2 from iOS 10.2.1 or iOS 10.3

Apple closed the signing window for iOS 10.2 a couple of weeks after it was released. This means that you can no longer downgrade to this firmware using iTunes.
If you have saved the SHSH blob for iOS 10.2, there are alternative downgrade methods such as Prometheus. But they’re quite complicated and there’s no guarantee that it will work.

Basically, this flaw could allow crooks to hack into nearby people’s phones and seize control.

It’s unclear how much access they would be able to get to the files stored on the phone, but if cyber crooks were able to gain control of ALL functions they could publish secret sexy selfies stored on the gadget, steal someone’s contacts and generally play havoc with their digital life.
In a statement discussing the software update, Apple wrote: “An attacker within range may be able to execute arbitrary code on the Wi-Fi chip.”
The tech giant is famed for fixing security holes as soon as they arise and its gadgets have a reputation for being difficult to hack or infect with viruses.
However, Apple is not infallible and security problems arise, which is why it’s important to always install the latest version of its software.
To download iOS 10.3.3, just open up the options app on your iPhone or iPad, click “general” and then press “software update”.

This is how iPhone and iPad can be changed with iOS 11

Apple improves their iPhone line-up in two ways, first by launching the big hardware or new iPhone andsecond is by launching the new version of iOS. iOS upgrade is big as it helps millions of people improve their existing iPhone and get the maximum out of it. As we know iOS upgrade is launched in the WWDC and this year WWDC is starting tomorrow.

Everyone knows about the new iPhone launch, and from last couple of years Apple is following the same trend of September launch, but three months earlier, Apple's annual WWDC developers conference gives an early preview of changes that are arguably just as important to iPhone owners: a peek at the next version of iOS.

Like every year Apple WWDC for 2017 is starting from Monday (5th June 2017), and it is expected that they will showcase the first preview of iOS 11. Although iOS 11 is expected to be the best iOS ever, we expect some changes to make iOS more user-friendly.Also Read:deepnude alternatives

Improve the front interface

Current view of app and folder are four icon dock design on iPhone are really isn't much different from the original iPhone in 2007. In a simple word, we can say that nothing much has changed in case of front interface from the time of launch.

Apple could re-think how apps are presented and organized, which would help our hundreds of scattered apps on our phones right now. In our opinion, we feel that Apple should give some flexibility from redesigning the front interface. It also seems that iOS is currently suffering in between two different screen sizes of iPhone. That also goes for the lock screen, which shows widgets but isn't enough of a live dashboard for getting essential info at-a-glance, that seems good on plus version of iPhone.

More live icons similar to clock icon

"Clock" is still the only animated icon on iOS. WTF? At least put the live temperature on the weather app. Or figure out some other indication besides the red "unread messages" flag. Lots of missed opportunities here.

Apple should make use of their tablet's extra screen space. Fit more apps on-screen, improve split-screen modes and treat the iPad more like a Macbook alternative versus being just a large iPhone.

Re-designed notification panel

iOS 10's notifications feel chunky and stick to the top of the phone longer than they feel welcome. Sometimes they're even hard to swipe away. A better way of managing and presenting notifications is in order, considering how ever-present they've become in everyday phone use.

Multi-user modes and logins

There needs to be a kid-friendly mode for iOS: on the iPad, it's an overdue must, and on the iPhone, it would be a huge help to let kids browse safely and play Pokemon Go without having access to mom and dad's emails or Facebook. Also, great would be guest modes, family modes and school use modes. Android has it, Chromebooks have it, Windows has it and even Amazon's Fire OS has it. Apple's iOS short-winded already has these things too, but they're buried in accessibility options or for school administrators only. Come on already, Apple: Put these features front and center, then make them easy to use.

4 big changes are coming to iPhone and iPad with iOS 10.3

We all know that whenever Apple updates their mobile operating system they have some great surprise for iPhone and iPad users.

As we all are aware that Apple has released the iOS 10.3 in beta version, today we are bring you the extract of features which are going to give the new experience to the iPhone and iPad users.

iOS 10.3 Hints That iOS 11 Will End Support for 32-Bit Apps

This is probably the most important thing you’ll want to know about iOS 10.3.

Those running the iOS 10.3 beta have been getting a warning message when trying to run 32-bit applications. As you can see in the tweet above, the message says “This app will not work with future versions of iOS. The developer of this app needs to update it to improve its compatibility.”

This means Apple will likely end support for 32-bit apps in iOS 11, the next major version of the mobile OS, which is expected early this fall.

The end of 32-bit app support is good and bad news. On the down side, those who have been on iOS for a long time will “almost certainly” have some old games or apps that they’ll no longer be able to use, according to Apple expert and CEO and Founder of Kiwi for Gmail Eric Shashoua. The good news is that newer apps on newer iPads and iPhones will be more powerful.

Apple has for some time required that new apps and updates to existing ones be 64-bit compatible, but the move to drop support for 32-bit apps may still come as a surprise to some. Meanwhile, Google’s Android platform, and most devices that run on it, still support 32-bit programs, but that will likely change in the future.

A New Feature Called “Find My AirPods” Is On The Way

Apple first announced its AirPods alongside the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in September 2016 and was supposed to release them in October, though they didn’t actually hit store shelves until December. The $159 wireless earbuds are intended to help usher in Apple’s vision for a completely wireless future and are meant to be used with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, both of which lack a headphone jack.

But one of the main criticisms against AirPods is their high price tag, considering how easy they presumably are to misplace (if you lose one you’ll have to pony up $69 for a replacement). Apple is addressing those concerns with a new iOS 10.3 feature called “Find My AirPods” in the Find My iPhone app.

Must ReadOne of the Biggest features of iPhone 8 has been removed

According to The Wall Street Journal, the feature won’t be able to pinpoint the exact location of a missing AirPod at all times, since the little ear buds don’t have a built-in GPS connection, but will tell you the last place they were in Bluetooth range of any device running iOS in your iCloud account (note, that does not include the Apple Watch, which runs watchOS).

This feature will likely be most helpful for those times you misplace your AirPods at home, as it will be able to confirm and give you peace of mind that they’re somewhere in the house. When this happens, you’ll be able to tap a “Play Sound” button in the iOS app and your missing AirPod will sound an alarm so you can find it.

Shashoua says Find my Air Pods likely would have been released earlier but wasn’t ready in a bug-free, stable form until now.

In-App Ratings Are Coming

With iOS 10.3, you’ll be able to rate apps without even going to the App Store. Developers will be able to ask you to rate and review their app while you’re using it.

This new in-app rating feature will presumably encourage more ratings, which is a good thing for the ecosystem overall. Users might not care too much about this, but it’s a “very significant” change for app developers, Shashoua says.

Meanwhile, developers will now be able to publicly respond to reviews. Here’s how the feature will work, according to Apple:

When iOS 10.3 ships to customers, [developers] will be able to respond to customer reviews on the App Store in a way that is available for all customers to see.

Get the iOS 10.3 on your iPhone and iPad

At this point, there’s no word exactly when Apple will release iOS 10.3 to the general public, but it’s expected sometime this spring. Those who can’t wait that long and are willing to try it out in beta form can do so right now.

The iOS 10.3 public beta is available to members of Apple’s Beta Software Program. Anyone with a valid Apple ID can sign up to participate in the program and get access to the beta software. To get started, just click the link above on your iOS device, then log in with your Apple ID or create a new one. Be sure to backup your iPhone or iPad via iTunes before you begin.

Keep in mind that you’ll be using pre-release software, so it may “contain errors or inaccuracies and may not function as well as commercially released software,” Apple warns. Each public beta comes with a Feedback Assistant app, which can be found on the second page of your Home screen on your iOS device. As you play around with the new mobile OS and you encounter an issue, just fire up that app to send your feedback directly to Apple.
